Who We Are Katharine Maxwell,
Co-leader and Children’s Leader Katharine is a volunteer leader at Carpenters and heads up the children’s work. She has three teenage children and is married to Ian. Katharine works part time in the bookshop in Chorleywood and runs Energize, our midweek group for children aged 8-11.
Ian Maxwell, Co-leader with Katharine Ian Maxwell is a management consultant, working for himself. Not having a regular job since 2000, Ian is fully reliant on God for all of his and his family's needs - and God has been good! Ian leads worship and speaks occasionally - when Katharine lets him get a word in! (only joking - Ian actually is on the sermon rota.) Gill Batsman ,Assistant Gill has recently been appointed as assistant to Ian and Katharine. She works part time supporting with administration,helping with the childrens work as, and when necessary, organising things such as the weekend away and catering for Church functions.
Becca Dean - Youth Worker Becca has only recently taken up the post (September 2008) but is already fully engaged with all the various youth activities in Carpenters. Both Becca and Gill are paid members of staff. Others on our leadership team are:
