SaltSalt is a social group for teens in years 11 and upwards. We meet once a month normally at Oak Tree House, Berry Lane Chorleywood but occasionally we do things like gigs, ten pin bowling or ice skating. This term our programme is: Sunday January 11th, Oak Tree House 7-9pm Rest of the programme for Spring 2009 TBC usually 7-9pm at Oak Tree House Salt is run by Steve and Marie Page. Steve is the Chief Executive of a group of schools for children with behavioural difficulties, Marie runs a music college and DVD training company called Musicademy. They have two children, Emily who is 17 and Alfie 14. Sometimes Geoff and Elaine Hawkings also help out - and Elaine makes a mean chocolate mousse. Geoff is a senior manager at a project management company and Elaine is a physiotherapist. Geoff and Elaine have four sons who are now mostly grown up and left home but reappear at regular intervals for more of Elaine's home cooking amongst other things. Geoff is developing the name Watchman Geoff - you'll need to ask someone from the Velvet Elvis study group what that is all about.
